Desktop suite for plate-based bioimaging analysis — segmentation,
degeneration index, and wavelength tooling. Install once; it updates itself automatically.
Auto-updates: after the first install, FIVE Tools checks for new
versions on launch and prompts you to update — you won't need to come back here.
Windows — first install
Run the downloaded FiveAvalonia-win-Setup.exe.
If Windows shows "Windows protected your PC", click More info → Run anyway (the build is unsigned but safe — it's ours).
It installs to your user profile and launches. Future versions update automatically.
macOS — first install
Open the downloaded .dmg and drag FiveAvalonia to Applications.
First launch: right-click the app → Open → Open. If macOS says it's "damaged", clear the quarantine flag in Terminal:
xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/FiveAvalonia.app
It then launches normally and keeps itself updated.
